Site opens at 5:00 PM Friday the 21st and closes 11:00 AM Sunday the 23rd.
Camping only!

Site Information

Tenting Only. Nice shower houses. Discreetly dry. No ground fires. Leashed pets allowed. RV/Camper space available through Kinser Park.

Site opens Friday at 5:00 pm and closes Sunday at 12:00 pm. Troll will be closing before the Hunt begins and re-opening just before feast. Quiet Time at 11:00.

Directions: From I-81, take Exit 23 and go towards Greeneville. Take the South Business 70/11E Exit to 70/321 South. If coming from the West, take a right off the exit ramp and it is 0.1 miles to the 1st redlight. If from the East, take a left. At the redlight, turn right onto 70/321 South. Stay on 70 South for 6.1 miles. 321 will separate from 70 at an intersection, stay straight on 70. After 6.1 miles, turn left onto East Allens Bridge Road with the Kinser Park sign. After 2.5 miles, turn right with the Kinser Park sign. After 100 feet, turn right at the T-intersection with the Kinser Park sign. After 0.9 miles, turn right. ---Enter Kinser Park.

Food

Friday: The Friday traveler’s fare will be a finger food feast. Everyone is encouraged to bring their best Medieval snack to share with the populace. ( mundane is ok too but the need for utensils is discouraged) *Remember that you don’t have to feed everyone with your dish.

Saturday: After the hunts, prepare your appetite for a Viking feast with an emphasis on stews. Lemonade and iced tea will be served for beverages. Menu subject to change based on availability & prices of produce.

First Remove: pickle tray, cheese, onion soup, crackers

Second Remove: beef stew, stewed apples, salad, rye bread,

Third Remove: smoked chicken, sour dough bread, cabbage, fruit pie

Fighting

Boar Hunt: Heavy weapons fighters bring your team of one hunter with a spear, one scout with a bastard sword and up to three dogs with round shield and dagger or replace one dog with an archer. Rumors abound there will be bears in the woods with the little piggies this year.

Musical Mayhem Tourney: After the hunt fighter’s should prepare themselves for a musical mayhem tourney. You will need full gauntlets and a 2 handed weapon to compete in this tourney.

Rapier Fighters: Come join us for the rapier hunt!

Arts and Sciences

Arts and Science Competition: There will be a textile arts themed A&S competition throughout the day. Feel free to bring whatever entry you would like but special consideration will be given to those entries which are based in some type of textile art (ie. Weaving, embroidery, handmade garb, spinning, etc.).
